We are a back to basics site offering camping to a a single group of up to twenty five campers and offers the opportunity to camp in natural surroundings with the benefit of a well-equipped building if the weather makes it unsuitable for outdoor activities. In keeping with the back to basics theme, we have no onsite adventurous activities but do offering traditional Scout activities such as pioneering.
Indoors
Our building is a traditional brick and tile hut and is formed of a kitchen and a small seating area and is circa 11m x 6m. The hut also boasts a wood burning stove for those cold winter nights.
The kitchen has all of the basics that you may need including a gas cooker, a fridge and freezer and some utensils.
Unfortunately the building is not suitable for sleeping in.
Outdoors
Along with the camping area, we also have a number of Hammock posts for campers to use. We have a campfire area, and a lovely covered shelter next to this to sit under, a dedicated chapel for reflection along with pioneering poles and a number of altar fires for you to use.
